Our Warranty

At XXL Designs, we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. Every product we create is backed by a 10 year warranty from the day your order is dispatched. Our warranty ensures peace of mind by covering natural wear and tear issues such as tarnishing, lacquer crazing, or similar defects.

If you encounter any issues within this period, simply contact us and we’ll arrange a replacement with minimal hassle. For custom items, we also provide a replacement warranty, ensuring your personalized order maintains the quality and care you expect.

Warranty Period

  • The warranty period is 10 years from the moment your plaque is dispatched.
  • No activation is required; your coverage starts automatically.
  • To qualify, you must notify us of warranty issues within the 10 year period, either in writing (email) or verbally (phone).

Warranty Coverage

Covered (including but not limited to):
Natural wear and tear such as tarnishing, lacquer crazing, paint peeling, metal warping, cracking, or large blemishes.Screws or other fixings that have become unusable due to damage or corrosion.

    Not Covered (including but not limited to):
    Damage caused deliberately or accidentally.Damage during installation or removal of the product.Damage to surrounding areas caused during installation or removal.Packaging or shipping costs for returning items.Installation costs of replacement items. Improper care or maintenance (e.g. exposure to chemicals, cleaning products, or outdoor conditions not intended for the product). Third-party modifications or repairs void the warranty.Normal aesthetic changes (minor scratches, fading from sunlight, etc.) are not covered, unless structural failure occurs.

      Warranty Claims

      To make a claim, please email us with the following:

      • The name and address of the original order.
      • A description of the issue.
      • Photos of the defect/damage to support your claim.
      • Proof of purchase/order confirmation

      If your claim is approved, a replacement will be shipped:

      • Within 3 working days for standard products.
      • Within 8 working days for custom products.

      Your new 10 year warranty will begin from the dispatch date of the replacement item.

        Add approval timelines or new warranty start details.

        Returns, Replacements And Refunds

        • Domestic orders: 30 days from dispatch.
        • International orders: 60 days from dispatch.
        • Items returned after these periods cannot be refunded or exchanged.

        We understand that online shopping can make it hard to know if an item is right until you receive it. While we may ask why you’re returning an item (to improve our products), all genuine reasons will be honored.

        To qualify, items must be:

        • In the same condition you received them,
        • Packaged in their original wrapping.

        Replacement

        Custom products can be replaced unless:Incorrect information was provided during the order.The artwork was sent for approval and either accepted, or no response was received by the deadline.

            Refunds

            • Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.
            • If approved, refunds are processed within 5 working days to your original payment method.

            Returns

            • A prepaid mailing label will be emailed to you. This must be printed and securely attached to the package.
            • Items must be repackaged in their original packaging, sealed securely to prevent damage or loss in transit.
            • Failure to follow packaging guidelines may invalidate your claim.
